It’s from California, no accidents, single owner, very good condition body and interior, and 96,000 on the odo . Engine sounds good, and no evidence (to me anyway) of major mechanical work. It’s a 2012 A4 S-Line 2.0 turbo with an auto. I like it, and it’s much nicer than his 1994 Honda Passport with 3 00,000 miles.

A wagon? Not an SUV? I am proud of your coworker. How much did he pay for it?

$13k, no sales tax in Montana either, right in line with KBB pricing . The trunk is about the same size as my 2002 Impreza but there is much more passenger volume.

The 2.0T is generally decent, this should be a Gen2. Here’s a nice article about some of the more common potential issues:

Where are the AUDI dealers up there? Bozeman, Billings, Missoula?

I think the closest Audi dealer to us is in Spokane. He bought this off a used car lot in Kalispell.

Oooh; I test drove one of those with 80,000 miles and it cost $10,500(which seemed too good to be true) . That gen of the A4 wagon was great except the exact car that I test drove . Coolant was low ; it had pretty bad shallow paint scratching in a spot , window switches were hit and miss on one side, and after asking twice the Carfax showed past frame damage. Still really liked the package though.

This one looks to be in great shape, everything works. I’m assuming it’s as auction purchase or a local trade in.
